The desert along the Atlantic Ocean in Namibia can be a very cold and windy place! On our recent trip we wanted to test some prototypes of the CozyBag Wilderness there and luckily they kept us warm in the evenings, nights and mornings. After a day of driving in the sand dunes we relaxed in the evenings around a campfire until it was dark enough to see the sky full of stars. Then I could just walk over to my tent, close the bottom of the CozyBag and fall asleep.
In the mornings we got up early and it was pleasant to keep warm while getting the first coffee. Even packing up can be done in the CozyBag until the sun gets warm enough to get out and continue our drive.
In this region roof-top tents are also popular, and one further advantage of the CozyBag is that you can climb the ladder to the tent up and down with your CozyBag on. Have a look at our CozyBag Wilderness here:
Klar, ein Hüttenschlafsack ist ein Sack um in Hütten zu schlafen. Aber was zählt als Hüttenschlafsack? Das erklären wir hier in diesem Blogbeitrag.
